ICYS Activities worker Mel Haynes got her 'glitter on' (literally) yesterday at our Menta...l Health Week Stall at Bremer State High School. Over 100 glitter tubes were given to students - simple mindfulness tools to relieve stress and anxiety. A teacher or two even enjoyed making the 'keep calm and sparkle' tubes. In recognition of Mental Health Week (10-18 October) we are giving away 5 Wellness Packs (Wellness Planner & Chocolates) and 1 Mega 'Keep Calm and Sparkle' Prize (teddy, lolly jar, chocolates, chips, ICYS merch, wellness planner & jigsaw). We were able to put that towards the purchase of an Apple iMac for our office. Ipswich City Council offer many opportunities for small business.
