The attendees were Greg and Terese Eddy from Kings College Brisbane, Dominic Maunsell and Tedd...y Wickes from Maunsell Wickes gallery, Christine Forster and Virginia Flitcroft, Scott Grimmett and I. A diverse group but we seemed to have a lot to say to each other, the wine helped. See more

10.01.2022 I've been housebound for the last week or so working on my two HEAD ON PHOTOGRAPHIC FESTIVAL exhibitions. I've spent a lot of time on Golden Summer, gilding the... surfer. I've already done one of these for the Under The Sun show, during which I almost had a nervous breakdown, but this time it went smoother. I am using a better glue which is more manageable. It's still difficult, the gold foil has a life of its own and is recalcitrant. And it's pains taking and time consuming as I have to wait for the glue to dry for each section. Anyway the result is worth it, what else would I be doing. I'll be showing Golden Summer at Maunsell Wickes Gallery 4 - 17 May, and I'm also in another exhibition DIVERSITY at Art Atrium 2 - 19 May. (see Head On website for details), and I'll be posting more about these exhibitions. See more
