23.01.2022 Hip to be Square??? We all know the 90’s are making an impact on our fashions. Some are a blessing to be seen back and refined, whilst others just needed to be left in the decade! Whilst it’s not Spring here in Oz, the big trend that’s hitting the streets of Europe for women is one that I find most unflattering. The square-toed shoe!... In searching the ‘net to bring you examples of this 90’s fad, it once again confirmed for me how unshapely these styles are on a fine female foot. The extra width on these styles may benefit the female who has a wider foot, as it would provide extra space, resulting in joy and comfort no doubt. Though on the other hand, females with a more slender foot seem to swim in such styles, resulting in an unappealing look. It reminds me of when little girls play dress-ups and their tiny feet are sliding about in their mothers’ high heels! So if you’re one to trend, these Duffy Duck flippers will be awaiting you.
