22.01.2022 This week 6 year old Jaxon had his wish come true, for a beautiful Labrador puppy that he would name Lyla After a challenging search and lots of help from our ...friends, Western Bulldogs player Jackson Trengove and Pedigree Australia, Jaxon and Lyla are finally together and having all the cuddles. Jaxon's mum Victoria said Lyla has already made a difference to Jaxon's life. "From the bottom of my heart to all thank you so incredibly much, you have made my little boy smile and cry from happiness, his heart so full. Lyla has brought so much love, joy and happiness to my family already," she said.

13.01.2022 There’s nothing like making TikToks for those good feels, especially when you’re stuck in hospital! Novena, 11, has been spending a lot of time in hospital sinc...e being diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Her wish was for her dream phone with a speaker and accessories so she can keep in touch with family and friends back in New Caledonia as well as, of course, listen to music and make TikToks! Novena’s wish came true this week but with the current COVID restrictions in place, our local volunteers Alison and Louise weren't able to give the phone to Novena in person, but it didn't stop them from jumping online for a virtual wish presentation. Mum Joyce was so emotional while Novena couldn’t stop smiling. It felt like a dream, Novena said.

06.01.2022 2 yr old Eva loves toys and Emma Wiggle, but one of her favourite things in the whole world is...RUBBISH TRUCKS! Last week Eva got a Wish hamper delivered full ...of lots of special toys picked just for her. Wish hampers are something we do to welcome under 3 yr olds to the Make-A-Wish family. Every hamper is unique, just like our kids & their wishes. Due to COVID restrictions, this hamper was delivered a bit differently to how we usually do them, but Eva still adored receiving all her hamper goodies. "I don't even know what to say! She absolutely LOST IT when she was unboxing her package. So many squeals! The truck is her favourite thing in the world. She has even been taking it to bed. We are so grateful" -Eva's Mum.
