25.01.2022 2020 was an amazing year of inspirational wishes for seriously ill children across Australia! Even before COVID-19 began, many wish children faced months of isolation as a result of their medical treatment. Make-A-Wish now has more than 800 critically ill kids on a Wish Journey, and for some, every extra day they wait feels like a lifetime. 23.01.2022 This is Renee and she works in the Community Fundraising team at the Make-A-Wish at head office. Here's her story of how she won her battle with cancer and raised awareness.

23.01.2022 Yesterday we had our monthly branch meeting. Even though most of our wishes are currently on hold, it's great that we can still catch up and get even more prepared for our future fundraisers and wishes.

22.01.2022 Our branch met Noah and his family back in 2016 where he wished for a new veggie garden. Since then Noah has been raising awareness and money for the condition he lives with: mitochondrial disease. Richmond premiership captain Trent Cotchin knows all about winners and has congratulated Noah, who finds it difficult to walk, walked 1km as part of an Australian-wide walk for mitochondrial. 01.01.2022 This is Bays (right) and his brother Zac. Bays loved cycling and was eligible for a wish, but never got the chance to see it realised. Last year, his dad Roger... was joined by 24 riders to cycle a massive 1,200km in memory of his son. Together they raised an incredible $61k, smashing their original goal of $10k. Time doesn’t heal the pain (of losing a child), but you have to deal with it in the best way you can that’s what we’re doing with the annual Bays’ Wish event. - Roger Bays' Wish 2020 is open for registration now!
