17.01.2022 DESTINATION: Grenfell NSW WHERE: Grenfell is a town in the Weddin Shire in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. It is 370 km west of Sydney. It i...s close to Forbes, Cowra and Young. WHY: To explore the birthplace of one of Australia's best known poets, Henry Lawson. TIME SPENT: We spent an easy day wandering around. OTHER THINGS WORTH SEEING: Wonderful silo art, historic street scapes, Weddin Mountains National Park, about 30 minutes out of town. WHERE WE ATE: Enjoyed a nice lunch at Unwind in Grenfell. Theres a few places to choose from.. TOURIST INFORMATION: @Visit Grenfell tourist office is in Main Street. WARNING: I've had a crack at reciting a bit of poetry in this video postcard.
