21.01.2022 All welcome to visit Mawson Gallery for Open Studio weekend of 19 and 20 August. Come along and check out a variety of ceramic artworks. Students will be making work. Also I will run a mini workshop and will have a number of platters leather hard and ready to try a carving through technique called "scraffito". No experience required. Plates will be available for $20 to $25 per piece. Will provide clay, tools, materials and firings for you to make a piece, as seen in these pho...tos. I will also have some simple designs ready to inspire you. Leave the plate with me and I will bisque and glaze it for you. Come along and spend an hour or two (or three) in a mini workshop. Devonshire tea, sandwiches, coffee and tea provided (gold coin donation appreciated). 25% off most Gallery work this weekend, perhaps some Christmas present ideas.
