24.01.2022 And just like that the lockdown is over and we can return to training as of 02/12/2020. So great news first class back starts at 5:15pm sharp Wednesday 02/12/2020. Social distancing will be required for the remainder of the year, hand sanitiser is to be used on your way in and out of the dojo. ... Additionally the change rooms are not to be used. If you feel sick in any way, have a cough, sore throat, runny nose or any other such symptom do not come to class as you will be sent home. Please do not risk your class or fellow students by arriving if unwell. OSU. Sempai Mariusz & Sempai Jason.

22.01.2022 During the week I was reminded of when I went to my first training camp in the middle of winter at a place called Axedale (central Victoria) and I recall that we came out of the river and lined up on the banks dripping wet, freezing and a little muddy. Our Sensei then got us to lay down and everyone walked over your stomach for some muddy conditioning! So as a throwback to the 1980’s, we had our student attempt a modified indoors version of this. To all that trained tonight OSU.!

17.01.2022 We are once again open and classes are back on. If your interested in improving your fitness, relieving stress or wanting to learn self defence come along and give it a try.

16.01.2022 Finally we are at the end of 2020, our first year as a dojo and what a year it has been. It started slow with only a couple of students and just as soon as we had started this thing called Covid-19 happened and closed us as quick as we opened. After a short break we were able to return and through the year our classes began to grow (a bit like the pandemic), as we neared out first ever dojo grading due to happen on 21st November, COVID-19 again hit South Australia and we clos...ed again. Luckily it was short lived and on the 7th December 2020 we held our first ever grading. Congratulations to the following: Diell Keen - 9th Kyu Hiua Daraei - 10th Kyu Ghulam Ali Hussaini - 10th Kyu On our last night of training 16th December we were lucky enough to have received and presented the above names with their certificates. Also in the 16th December one of our students bid us farewell as he is returning to his home county of Turkey, we wish Bayram all the best for his future and hopefully this is just the start of his Kyokushin journey that began in Adelaide. Sempai Mariusz & Sempai Jason, Would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas & a safe and happy New Year and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2021. OSU.

16.01.2022 Some pyramid training at the end of class, just when people are starting to feel tired.!

16.01.2022 Stretching is an important part of all exercise/training but it’s especially important in martial arts. It’s good to see how much everyone’s flexibility is improving as the year goes by. Keep up the good work.

13.01.2022 Tonight was the first night we have had 10 students at training and what a session to welcome a couple of new students and an awesome effort by everyone tonight well done OSU.

10.01.2022 At the start of November, I mentioned to the class I would be growing a moustache for Movember to raise awareness and funds about men’s health issues in particular prostate cancer and suicide prevention. Since we went into lockdown during the month of November we hadn’t trained or seen each other for 3 weeks. I was so surprised and please at our first class back tonight to see Sempai Mariusz Kaminski, Hiua Daraei, Ali Hussaini, Craig Sweetman, had not only financially sup...ported me but they had also grown thier own moustache.! Just another example of how great the Kyokushin family can be. Sempai Jason OSU.
