22.01.2022 Today we had the wonderful Sarah from First Senses Classes come to our playgroup for an incursion. The theme was dinosaurs . It was sooo much fun and most importantly messy. The children enjoyed playing with all the interactive stations exploring a variety textures and smells. ... Sensory play is crucial for young children as it enhances their social emotional and physical development. We look forward to next term when you return.

21.01.2022 A massive thank you to Kym Menadue from Northern Adelaide Property Services for making and donating 3 mud kitchens to our playgroup. Based in Gawler, Northern Adelaide Property Services builds, restores and renovates homes- particularly kitchens all over Adelaide. Two of the mud kitchens sold within 24 hours of being listed on market place and all profits went directly to Mawson Lakes Ducklings Playgroup. Thank you so much Kym!... Only one of the kitchens (picture in comments!) is left so please private message if you are interested- they make an excellent Christmas gift!

20.01.2022 A huge thanks to Vince Hugo the Activities Organiser from Bunnings Warehouse Australia Bunnings Parafield Garden for these fold out trestle tables! We are a playgroup run entirely by parents who have children enrolled in our playgroup- so getting the morning set up with the heavy kindergarten tables was proving to be quite challenging. These portable and easy fold up tables have been an amazing blessing from the kind people at Bunnings! Once again thank you! :)

20.01.2022 Today the wonderful playgroup members went on an excursion to Bunnings - Parafield. Bunnings put on a wonderful craft activity for Mothers Day. They were extremely child focused and very engaging. The playgroup highly recommends you attend their DIY sessions for children. For further information contact them. One of their friendly staff will happily help you. This is something the playgroup will definitely do later again in the year. Thank you Bunnings Parafield.

18.01.2022 Looking at doing something cultural in the coming weeks? Well I have the place for you to go.... The Greek Glendi is celebrating 40 years its free entry in Victoria square. There will be music and plenty of Greek Food. Starting Friday 23 March to Sunday 25 March. Opa!!!

14.01.2022 The Ducklings Playgroup returned last Thursday. Every week we do a craft activity which is planned by one of our volunteer mums who is also a teacher. 12.01.2022 Today was the last day of the Ducklings playgroup for 2018 We enjoyed lots of party food, exchanged gifts and had a fantastic entertainer from COOL 4 KIDS. 06.01.2022 So we had our Aladdin fundraiser last Sunday and was a huge success. A big thank you to our sponsors for the amazing prizes and everyone for attending, we had a blast! We raised around $300 for the playgroup which is amazing! We are looking at doing another movie fundraiser in Summer so we'll keep you posted....
