15.01.2022 An exciting day for Mawson Primary School as our second demountable building is installed. In 2021 student enrolment is expected to be around 540 students.

Get your final fundraising in by tomorrow!... Please remember to wear sunscreen and a hat (you may want to bring a non-Mawson one!) and bring your water bottle. You can wear your Colour Run clothes to school as well. Parents and Carers are free come and watch and we could use some volunteers to help setup! 06.01.2022 Book Club Issue 2 Update The Scholastic Book Club orders for Issue 2 have arrived and are being sorted. As tomorrow is the last day of term there unfortunately... is no time to organise for pick up from the school before the holidays. Orders will therefore be available for collection from the school in the first week of Term 2. Further details shall be provided regarding pick up arrangements. 01.01.2022 Term 3 is looking a little more normal for ACT public schools The ACT Government has set out a further easing of restrictions in public schools for term 3. Th...e things that will change are: parent teacher interviews can resume face to face parents and volunteers can attend school sites - anyone who comes into the school will need to sign in so there is a clear record excursions, including interschool sports, can continue within the ACT, with groups not exceeding 100 overnight excursions at Birrigai can go ahead, with physical distancing for adults interstate excursions and camps can resume where they are a necessary part of a student’s education program and follow COVID-related rules within the state they are travelling in on-site discos and celebrations can go ahead in line with restrictions on group numbers fundraising events can go ahead in line with restrictions on group numbers larger assemblies, gatherings and performances can resume in line with restrictions on group numbers Of course with all of these changes, remember to keep up physical distancing and personal hygiene, and stay home if you're unwell.
