23.01.2022 Work visa sweetener for university students International students enrolled at Australian universities but forced to remain overseas and study online because of the COVID-19 pandemic will still be granted graduate work rights under concessions to the embattled higher education sector being considered . Under the plan, according to sources familiar with the proposal, students would remain eligible despite returning to their home countries and studying online.... https://www.theaustralian.com.au//c8f11e6ac3c2071398111eed
23.01.2022 *****S 48 BAR***** Have you heard about s 48 bar ????? If anyone have had a visa cancelled or refused since last arriving in Australia , and is either unlawful or hold a bridging visa then that person /applicant is restricted under ‘section 48 bar’.... If you are ‘section 48 barred’ you are prevented from lodging most other visa applications while you are in Australia (there are some very limited exceptions). This means that you would normally need to leave Australia. Becoming unlawful in Australia or overstaying your visa can negatively affect future visa applications and eligibility for citizenship. Has your visa been refused or cancelled? When you applying for state nomination please check conditions to be eligible as most of the states do not welcome the nomination application if applicant has s48 bar. If you have still confusion about s 48 bar please contact Max Business Group as our proficient team is available to help you.
18.01.2022 Change in Small Business Owner (SBO) Visa Scheme in QLD From 1 April 2021 the pre-existing business purchased will need to have been in operation for 2 years instead of 1 year. There will also need to be a minimum purchase price of $100,000 (rather than total investment in the business).... Furthermore, sub-leases of franchises (such as petrol stations), and home-based businesses (such as courier and cleaning businesses) will not be considered. These requirements are aimed at ensuring the program is sustainable in the long-term. Please note: businesses that have been purchased prior to 1 April 2021 are not subject to these requirements. International students will be able to lodge a further student visa application free of charge if they are unable to complete their studies within their original visa validity due to COVID-1...9. Current student visa holders studying online outside Australia due to COVID-19 will be able to use that study to count towards the Australian study requirement for a post-study work visa. 08.01.2022 ***Can Australian citizen child sponsor his/her parents ? *** Sponsorship on behalf of children under 18 years of age If the child or child's cohabiting partner is unable to sponsor the applicant because they are under 18 years of age, the regulations provide for a relative, guardian or community organisation to sponsor on their behalf. However, the relative or guardian must also be aged 18 years or over and be a settled Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or el...igible New Zealand citizen. Which community organisations are acceptable The Regulations neither define "community organisation", nor prescribe further requirements that the organisation must meet. The types of organisations that, under policy, may be approved under regulation 1.20 as sponsors include, but are not limited to, community-based organisations, ethnic organisations or church-based groups, with which the minor has affiliation or which are assisting the minor in settling. The organisation should establish that it has a relationship with the person under 18 years old or that it is willing to support the application by, for example, a local senior member of the organisation who is authorised to speak on behalf of the organisation providing a statutory declaration to this effect.
