16.01.2022 On Sunday last Kate & I had the pleasure of participating in the Recovery Art & Fashion Show. We had spent the last 6 months designing, sourcing materials and creating garments for the runway. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We learnt many different techniques and gained many new skills. We are very thankful for help from our husband and father Ben & our aunt & sister in law, Julie who both rallied around and helped us finish our pieces. If you have seen the video you alrea...dy know just how wonderful our models are. I cannot thank them enough for their time and commitment and please know each is even more beautiful on the inside than shows on the outside. I also wish to thank Sheena Evans- our makeup artist extraordinaire, The Beauty Mark and the Icon whose hair and makeup was just beautiful. I must also thank my dear friend who was the photographer behind the lens of the following photos. Thank you's would not be complete without naming the woman behind the event- Bernadette Torrenson. 05.01.2022 Hi there. They say its better late than never so I have quite a few new things to show you all. I never cease to be grateful for the wonderful range of garments that we are asked to design & make. Our truly gorgeous Rachel Alexandra always challenges us. Our minds and technical skills are stretched when she commissions us to create a unique garment for a special occasion. This year Ella Bache was, for the first time, sponsoring Fashions on the Field at the Albury Gold Cup. What could be more suitable than a cutting edge outfit featuring horses- sparkly ones at that! xxx
