10.01.2022 So this Is how you install a new cast iron grate into an pit where nothing is close to square or level or even cut away the rough concrete form out the pit walls to suit the new grate and concrete with a neat brushed edge finish

We also squared off archways, added a hall pan...try/linen cupboard and removed all the carpet and cork floor tiles. Next step levelling floor for new flooring to be installed. 05.01.2022 Same again today converted another set of cupboards into vanities they turned out quiet well and the over head cabinet was as heavy as it looks wasnt easy getting that one in
05.01.2022 So I was over at a house in Harrington park moving some stormwater lines for the pool builders. I was wondering why the charged lines feeding the rainwater tank were empty. Turns out all the charged lines were run in 90mm underground 6 months old and fittings have started to break away from each other due to the ground sinking slightly. Anyway on my way to the check the rainwater tank I noticed the gas connection to the hot water system it looked a bit rough to me so I tested... it and yep it was leaking from the ball valve on the threaded connection I told the owner they contacted the builder and the plumbers came back. So they decided to refit the ball valve and reuse the same dodgy looking connection to the hot water system apparently that is good enough. So for the sake of ten minutes I decided to change the connection its not a big deal but it doesnt take much to do it properly. See more
