07.01.2022 For horses that are shod & barefoot :- A navicular case on the 4th shoeing cycle. Note the Ski slope appearance before and how long the toe lever arm is. This was putting an increased strain on the navicular through the DDFT. After wards we have established proportions around the centre of rotation and a near straight hoof Pastern axis vastly reducing the strain on the DDFT both statically and dynamically. The horse is now sound. The Equine Documentalist FB & website provides excellent information free.
