17.01.2022 Sometimes crane handovers a little more special than others and I, (Stu) took great joy doing this one. Little walk down history lane with Mitre 10 Maclean. These photos show how far our industry has come and how safe, light and more user friendly the guys have it today. The old Hino in photos was a 1991 FF model which was originally built for Telstra back in the day. Good chance someone in our company may have even sold it!!...... but the old girl has done its time and i...s ready for retirement in a paddock somewhere. Funny that the old truck is 14ton GVM with tare of 7,950kg but the new model FE Hino with same GVM of 14ton only weighs 6,650kg. Given that the old Atlas crane has done its job for 30 years and still does a hard day's work , it has served Mitre 10 well. Good example on how trucks and cranes have become smaller, lighter but more efficient for business over the years. With new safety requirements on VLC's including radio remote the operator of truck( he has been driving it for 17 years) took a little to get used to new toy but loved the new EFFER 80 by the end of the session. Big thanks to Troy at NCV Hino Coffs Harbour for letting us supply total new package to his customer.

12.01.2022 Check out this Tiptilt Industries body for Roadtek, which includes an Effer 100. It's a tipper when it wants to move dirt products.... It's a tilt tray when required to load machinery... Lastly it's a good looking crane truck with boom tip functions for an augur and bucket as well.... Great looking build that has been long time in the pipeline for Brisbane Roadtek depot. Using a specially designed Effer 395-C3 (with special short outer boom) Sydney Water Tanks has been able to maximise their productivity by both storing heavy tanks efficiently on their truck, as well as completing heavy lifts at super close radii. The Unic was something different to what the council have operated before, so were over the moon with the end result. ... The functionality of the Unic is perfect for their needs. 8 ton/m crane rear mounted on 6 tonner payload, outside the rule of thumb but.....engineered by Vince Mcnamara Engineering to perfection!!
