24.01.2022 Did you know that we launched a pilot program for Disability Employment Services Traineeships? In September last year, we extended our traineeships to support people with disability in our local communities. So far, the program has been a great success with 54 trainees employed nationally at our Joblink sites to complete a Business Traineeship not far from our goal of employing 70 trainees!... This exciting program aims to support trainees with barriers to employment to kick-start their career journey and we’re delighted to have seen the remarkable growth in each trainee over the period and look forward to supporting trainees to further their employment journeys, post-traineeship and beyond. Hear first-hand, from our very own trainee, Emily, who shares her experiences I found it very hard to find a job on my own. I had always wanted a career in Admin to hopefully work my way up in an office, so I was very thrilled and excited to get the job as it was the best news I heard in a while! Maxima really listened and I have heaps of support from the people that I work with and the course I’m studying has helped me with my career.

11.01.2022 Turning your life around with a new career is no mean feat. Meet Rebecca, who, with a little help from Maxima, managed to do this in the space of months. Rebecca found herself with reduced hours after five months working on a production line and made the decision to seek out a new challenge and a career she could build on. Rebecca excelled in the role and has now been hired permanent part-time as a Recruitment Resourcer at Fuse! Fuse have been really great, I really love working here and they are so supportive. Julie, Tracey and Sarah from Maxima were super supportive too, they were there for me whenever I needed, I just had to ask.
