08.01.2022 SIMPLIFY YOUR SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE // App # 1 @goodonyou_app - For ethical ratings on Australian fashion brands. If you've read the first issue of Maximizer mag you'll have heard of this app and know it's been a firm favourite of mine for quite a while. The app gives ratings based on a brands impact on people, the environment and animals. It's so useful because it pulls together a lot of technical information from a range of independent certification bodies, along with inf...ormation available from the companies themselves, and presents it in easy to understand ways to make your purchasing decisions easy. Plus the database is for Australia, so it's actually relevant and makes it easy to access brands with a 5 point rating, which are often ones you don't see in the shops. The app allows you to customise your search results based on what's most important to and you can search by brand or item as well as click through to their website, often with a discount code. You're also able to request a brand be added if it's not listed and send feedback to brands directly from the app. You'll get recommendations for similar products with a higher rating and if you have location services turned on, the app also lists your closest retailer. If you use the @goodonyou_app or like this recommendation, I'd love you to tag a friend who'd find it useful too or regram this so more people know about it. #goodonyou #bethegood #fashfashion #fashrev #slowfashion #ethicalfashion #capsulewardrobe #whomademyclothes #maximizerrecommends #spendwisely #earthfriendly #sustainable #supplychain
