19.01.2022 Left: Louis Vuitton Quartz watch with diamond case and bracelet. Right: Manual Wind Triple Date Moonphase Rolex. Believe it or not, these two watches together are worth half a million dollars. Each piece is worth a quarter million dollars. Each unique in their own way. If you had the money, which one would you go for? or ... We are the authorised service agent for Louis Vuitton in Australia, and the Rolex is owned by a private customer which we will service here at MSSWS. See more

19.01.2022 The Vacheron Constantin Ultra Thin Skeleton watch is truly one of a kind. This exquisite piece is only 5.48mm thick and 30mm wide. Remarkably, the movement is only 1.64mm thick. Note the fine details on the skeletonised movement, painstakingly hand engraved by a Master Engraver. We are authorised agents for Vacheron Constantin (Richemont Group), so trust us to take your watches to the official workshop for repair on your behalf. @ Sydney, Australia

17.01.2022 This Rolex Reference 8171 is lovingly dubbed "Padellone", which translates to "large frying pan" in Italian. Boasting a generous 38 mm gold case, it is slightly larger than its waterproof Oyster sibling, reference 6062. Both references 8171 and 6062 were the only two vintage Rolex models with moonphases, giving them a mythical reputation and cult-like following. Produced for a very short period of time in the early 1950s, reference 8171 and 6062 were available in yellow gold,... pink gold, and stainless steel. This Rolex has just been serviced here at MSSWS. The customer inherited this watch from his father and thought the watch was valued at roughly $30,000. Exactly the same model in similar condition recently sold at an auction in Geneva for CHF 980,000, or AUD $1.56 million. Almost 50 times more than what the customer estimated. That’s a good investment. @ Sydney, Australia

12.01.2022 Ever thought of what it’s like to dismantle a Swiss watch movement? This is an Omega movement cal. 1120, based on an ETA 2892. This movement consists of very delicate parts, some as small as 1mm and as thin as 1/10th of a millimetre. That why your Swiss watch should be regularly serviced. Switzerland is the hub where all these sophisticated movements are engineered and manufactured, not to mention chocolates and cheese Happy Swiss Day!
