04.01.2022 Good Morning People Mental Health Monday's What better way to start the week than talking about Mental health?... All too often we dread Mondays and it is a cause of anxiety, whether it be because you don't enjoy your job, you had a heavy weekend or you are just conditioned to fear Mondays. It's a bit different right now, with most people working from home! Currently, I see so many posts going around about Mental Health offering support if people need it, which is a lovely thought, but for anyone who is suffering, you need to go to them, hold their hand before they can heal. I find the best thing is to check in with friends and family regularly and go beneath the surface to make sure they are travelling well in these tough times. Really invest time in helping others, you never know who around you is struggling. What are some ways to keep your own MH in check? *Sleep 7-9 hours *Drink 2-4 litres of water *Vitamin D in the Sun *Reflection time - peace and quiet *Exercise 30-45 mins (moderate intensity) *Meditate (Calm and Headspace are great) *5 portions of veg and 3 fruit a day *Reduce caffeine, sugar and processed foods *Do things you love and feel passionate about! If you have any good tips to help lower stress and keep on top of your own MH comment below. #mentalhealthcreatesphysicalhealth #mhcph #disciplineovermotivation #keeponkeepingon #failyourwaytosuccess #standalonetogether
