20.01.2022 A personal message from Dave; Hello Everyone, Maybe Dave's is still operating and will continue to operate for as long as it is deemed safe to.... If you are feeling unwell, i request that you please do not come in. If it's just a cold, or the usual flu then please do not come in. This request should be the norm regardless of the current situation of the world. Two things you can do to help are to use contactless payments such as paywave wherever possible and be understanding of the extra precautions I have asked my staff to take. Such precautions are simply to not hand orders directly into any customers hands and to keep the recommended social distances. I feel this may seem impersonal, but I also feel it is required. These things you may not notice as changes anyway. The well-being of my staff is paramount and I depend on my staff being well as this business is my livelihood. On a side note, from Sunday the 5th July, Maybe Dave's Fish and Chips will be open 5 nights from 4:30-8pm Wednesday to Sunday! I am seeing a few comments here and there about lunches. 14.01.2022 Hey everyone , I always intended to trade for as long as I could. In light of covid-19, staff health and safety, social distancing and a recent mechanical failure leading to a loss of stock I have decided that I'm going to have to pack it in for a little while and do my part in isolating. ... Regarding Good Friday and easter weekend, I will be closed. My main concern here is ensuring social distancing for my staff and my customers. Good friday is a crazy day and I cannot garauntee the safety of everyone, in regards to correct social distancing measures.
