25.01.2022 Under the current circumstances, with wedding postponements coming thick and fast, Mayers Photography is dedicated to helping all brides and grooms to be, with rescheduling their special day. Weather you are currently booked with us, or in need of a new photographer, our prices will be frozen indefinitely. All of our couples that need to reschedule will not be out of pocket with us, and your prices will remain the same as they were upon booking. If you have any questions or concerns please send us a message and we would like to wish all couples all the very best negotiating these uncertain times.

21.01.2022 So for Christmas, Mayers Photography asked for "MORE SPEED" and not only did Santa come early ...... he delivered in spades! We have ourselves a new Dell "engine room" and for the icing on the cake, a new Loupedeck CT input tool. Now I just need to learn how to navigate this device efficiently, but should save lots of time once I get used to it. 18.01.2022 With the events of 2020 leading to so many weddings needing to be re-scheduled we are anticipating quite a busy 2021-2022 wedding period. This could mean many wedding vendors will be booked out a lot more than normal which may also mean many will increase prices as a result. Mayers Photography are committed to Freezing Prices for the third straight year regardless of how busy we get. Many couples have had a lot of difficulties organising their special day and we don't feel right that they may be lumped with higher prices on top of everything else. We wish every couple all the very best for their special day and beyond!

16.01.2022 Black & White photos are such a great example of "less is more". Taking colour out of the equation and relying simply on shades can make some photos "pop" even more! Here are a few of my favourite black & whites from our most recent wedding. :-)

16.01.2022 BREAKING WEDDING NEWS: Weddings now are limited to 5 people ..... the Couple, Celebrant and two witnesses only! Please keep in mind if your were keen to have professional photos done of the wedding / elopement, I'm sure it would be totally fine if one of the witnesses just happened to take some photos for you.

14.01.2022 Yesterday we travelled to the amazing Sandstone Point Hotel to capture Lee & Leanne's big day. This was the much anticipated wedding of this awesome couple surrounded by so many loving friends and family. Such a great day for everyone involved! :-)

12.01.2022 Wow, so we received the news today that Mayers Photography is a finalist in the SQC Brides Choice Awards ! We don't actually try to win any awards, I wouldn't know where to start and to be honest customer satisfaction is more important to us than any award. I would not personally ask any of our clients to vote for us, but the fact that they have, is a real honour. So thank you very much to those that appreciate what we do enough, to go out of their way and send a vote our way! Thank you so much!

11.01.2022 Unfortunately Kate & Anthony's wedding was one of many needing to be postponed ..... so they decided to have a nice family photo shoot in the park instead. Keep an eye out for their "re-scheduled" wedding snaps to be posted early 2021! :-)

11.01.2022 ATTENTION BRIDES, GROOMS & VENDORS: With the new rules put in place last night it looks as though almost all weddings planned for the next six months are likely to be postponed. (With the exception maybe of some elopements?) These rules may be relaxed in the coming months but it would be very risky assuming they will. During these uncertain times, couples and vendors need to work together to minimise the negative impact all round. Please be aware that from around late Septemb...er 2020 on wards, for the next year or even two, there is expected to be a much higher than average rate of weddings. This being the case, popular dates, venues and vendors will be in short supply. Please be aware of this as we all try to re-book weddings as smoothly as possible.
