24.01.2022 CP Dental recognises that many people manage their expenses differently. We have partnered with @afterpayau to provide an alternative means to help people cover the cost of their dental care. Some dental work can be urgent in nature, and delaying treatment can have significant consequences and increase the overall cost and scope of the work required. Patients who are existing afterpay users can apply for up $1500 worth of dental treatment at a given time. Please contact our team if you have any further questions.

09.01.2022 We regularly get questions from concerned parents about when their kids should expect to lose teeth. We also have situations as seen here where the adult teeth are lining up like a sharks behind the baby ones For the vast majority of situations it is perfectly ok and the baby tooth will eventually fall out, perhaps with a little encouragement from the child. Wiggle time! The force of the tongue usually pushes the adult tooth forward soon after the baby tooth is lost. The sec...ond image shows the average times when a tooth should come through ( erupt) and fall out ( shed or exfoliate) Please bear in mind that these are averages and it is not uncommon to see 6-12 months either side of the time frames mentioned. There are scenarios where we need to take x rays or do other assessments to determine if an adult tooth is delayed due to being lost along the way, or not forming at all. Your childs teeth are monitored at their regular check ups to see if any orthodontic intervention is required. See more
