02.01.2022 Today’s Christmas wreath class was so much fun. We used proteas, Geraldton wax, smoke bush, pincushions, dried orange slices, spruce and lots of different varieties of gum foliage. Next Saturday there is a fresh wreath class using fresh flowers. The class still has spot available for anyone who’d like to come along? I’m also considering doing a vine wreath class this Friday coming. Let me know if you are interested.

01.01.2022 Mother’s Day offerings

01.01.2022 It has been a very busy week. Countless teacup posies, weddings, arrangements, many hospital deliveries and other deliveries all over the countryside. Being a florist sees me wearing many different caps. Designer, bringer of happiness, labourer, chief bucket cleaner, order taker, creator, Councellor, book keeper, secretary, boss lady, delivery driver, cat mum, kid mum, care giver, house cleaner, washing slave and wife. There’s never a dull moment. Yes I’m exhausted most days..., but I get up and do it all over again the very next day. Life is sweet and full. I value every single day because life is short and every moment is cherished. Thinking of those that I have delivered flowers to this week who really aren’t having the best time at the moment. Always know that ‘this too will come to pass’. Enjoy your weekend, Melanie xo

01.01.2022 The very last Christmas wreath class of the year was held today. My lovely group whipped up some of the most divine wreaths full of berries, Holly, dried orange slices, fresh pine and spruce, hydrangea and more. These wreaths all have a water source so they will last. Some chose to use their wreaths as a table centrepiece and others were hanging theirs up. This year I even made one for myself and I love it ! Thanks so much everyone for joining in all of the fun. Merry Christmas to you all.
