21.01.2022 I’m so grateful there is becoming an increasing awareness to the whole eating clean epidemic. Whilst I understand that the intent is great and trust me I’m all for fresh fruit and veg and less dressings in salads etc. the intent here is such a fine line between showing gratitude for your body and being strict and inflexible due to body image issues. I’ve noticed many women with hormonal issues and some of the dearest friends now suffer fertility issues due to this lifestyl...e and competing etc. It breaks my heart to know that because there isn’t an awareness to the issues surrounding clean eating moving your body that there will be an incline of similar if not more catastrophic incidences occurring. http://www.stuff.co.nz//women-exercising-and-undereating-t

16.01.2022 Have you got some fruit and veg close to turning? Don’t throw it out! Winter soups are great for utilising all of your left over veggies. Did I mention that it’s also a great way to have a nutritionally dense meal?

16.01.2022 Health and Well-being isn’t just about what you eat, or if you even go to the gym. It’s about relationship, mental well-being and space too. What do I mean about space? Well it can be the environmental space you put yourself in. Do you put yourself is places you don’t want to be? Places that make you feel unsafe or undervalued? ... Now I’m not qualified to give any advice so believe it or not I’m not going to. But I do think evaluating your space is going to lead you to a happier healthier lifestyle. 07.01.2022 Over the weekend just gone I had quite a few conversations with some amazing people that needed a little guidance. It also came to my attention that these people are most definitely not the only people who need a little bit of a shift. After all theres only so much working out we can do to keep our minds off our daily lives.... Which in turn led me to this weeks topics. On tips that I myself use but I also encourage my clients to use throughout their journey. Todays topic is the Attitude of GRATITUDE. How many things can you label that you dislike or would rather change on your body? And how many things can you list that you like about your body? Which one came easier to you? Which list did you have to think about? I'd say 98% of you listed quicker and had more of the things you didn't like and your perceived 'flaws'. Memorised like the bakc of your hand...am I right? Now Id like you to apologise for thinking them and writing them down because your body is so amazingly designed And to now practice gratitude. You have cellulite? Thank you body for reminding me that I need to drink more water and have more antioxidants. Your teeth are slightly crooked and not white? Thank you body for creating teeth to chew my food and for a decorative smile. I cant lose weight? Thank you body for being stubborn and showing me that I'm not listening to you or eating correctly for you otherwise you'd be exactly how your'e supposed to be. But most importantly Body THANK YOU for giving me the ability to hold my loved ones tightly, to laugh with those I cherish. Thank you for giving me legs that allow me to walk and move to where i need to be. Each day Id like you to write down three things that your'e grateful for your body for. And for every time you have a complaint or a negative thought to write down an additional three (L). Dont just use this for your body but all aspects of your life

03.01.2022 Body sore? Depleted energy levels? Moods that make even your mother run and hide? If there’s anything I’ve learn it’s to listen. Listen to that voice inside that says slow down, I need a rest.... The above are all signs that you quite possibly need to slow down. It could be just for a few hours, days hell even years. But whatever is being yelled from within do it, follow it and don’t feel guilty for doing so.
