24.01.2022 Finally managed to get a final photo. The house has been lived in for some time now and life goes on with many enjoyable parties and swims in the pool and even marquees on the garage roof deck. Then end of another great project.

25.12.2021 Slab down on Garage roof, Pool in waiting for the renderer and acceptance from council for proposed stormwater discharge.

17.12.2021 And still the rain persists down as my brother used to say. At least we have had enough sunshine to pour slabs without having to encase the whole building in a tarpaulin. Soakwells are still to be resolved but we are on the home stretch now me thinks and instead of soakwells we will be installing holding tanks so the water slowly seeps into the council system. ... Why they didn't place a huge drain into the lake yonder is still beyond me and their argument is that it would pollute the lake. I think their spraying the verges with roundup would do more damage but you can't argue with City Hall. With the house now almost finished being rendered and now a slab to the Garage roof and the pool waiting for its finished plaster, we can begin to imagine what life will be like for the Fredericksons and their lifestyle. It shouldn't be long now as long as we can get approval from council for the drainage.
