18.01.2022 Trevor our mature age apprentice receiving his in house training for Certificate III - Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, with Brian Pomroy & David Barnes Automotive Trainers- Technical from MTA (Motor Traders Association of NSW). Trevor will complete his apprenticeship in 2019.

16.01.2022 Trev with Fridays tyre delivery only 34 tyres today. He looks excited about having to pack them away and most likely having to fit up most of them to a vehicle.

14.01.2022 We would like to congratulate Stevin on reaching a milestone. On the 3rd August Stevin has been with us here at Mayne Street Auto for 10 years. Stevin started with us through work experience, within a short time we realized we wanted to sign him up as an apprentice. He excelled at his TAFE studies, and has not stopped since. His achievements in doing Automotive courses since then have only added to his knowledge. He also completed the Authorised Examiners course with RMS and... is also a member of the Institute of Automotive & Mechanical Engineers. Stevin always gives 110% in everything he does and is an asset to our workshop. We value Stevins knowledge & work ethic he is a credit to his parents. He has also supervised & shared his knowledge with work experience students & apprentices. He has participated in Shave for a Cure, plays Hockey, Touch Footy & Cricket. We have been through a lot together as a team with Stevin even rescuing Don from a killer Hilux, then Stevin with one smashed in cheek from a lunch break ? and a kangaroo jumping on him on his way to work one morning on his motor bike resulting in several injuries. 14.01.2022 No its not an optical illusion, its Steve (doing a plank) changing the coil packs and spark plugs in a very difficult to reach area on a Kluger. Where you cant easily see what you are doing at the back of the motor. They are in there somewhere!

We ask you to limit yourselves to TWO persons in store at any one time, other wise wait outside until someone exits. Please keep to the 1.5 metre rule and dont touch anything in store we will get it for you. If you are waiting around for your vehicle to be finished we ask you to please wait ...outside or at the park. If possible please pay by Eftpos. Also we will not be able to drop you to your home or work and not be able to pick you up from your home or work. You will have to make your own arrangements. 13.01.2022 Hi, Just want to let you know we are still open at this stage. We were contacted on Monday confirming we are classified as an essential service. This gives us the ability to continue trading but also the great responsibility that we must address the safety guidelines for both our staff and customers. So we remind you to be vigilant with social distancing and hand washing, so we all stay as safe as possible. The Mayne Street Auto team are taking a break over Christmas so we will be closed from 5pm Friday 20th December and re-open 8am Monday 6th January 2020. 09.01.2022 Must be June Long Weekend 2018. Waiting very patiently.

09.01.2022 We would like to let everyone know as from tomorrow Friday 3/4/2020 we will be stopping direct access to Mayne Street Auto. At 8am we will be putting a chain barrier across the entry door, we ask you to please wait there for assistance. Someone will attend to you as soon as possible, we ask you to be patient as we could be helping another customer or on the phone. We dont mind if you call out to us but we request you to not enter until you have spoken to a staff member. We w...ill only be taking bookings by phone, our number is 6374 2018. So this means you just cant walk in with what you need to be done, whether it is a simple Puncture, Rego check, to purchase of part, oil, a filter, to book in for repairs or tyres or something more. Over the last 10 days our staff levels have reduced from 6 to 2 for various reasons. This has placed a degree of stress on two remaining staff. As always we will try and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction this can only be done by your support and patience. We will be setting up a mobile txt phone for click and collect over next days. All our stock levels of tyres, batteries, filters etc remain high at present time. 08.01.2022 Tianah the camera shy work experience student from Gulgong High School. Tianah has been with us for 10 weeks, observing & working under the supervision of Stevin & Trevor in the workshop. Hopefully we have helped her with her career choices for the future. Its been a pleasure to have her on the team, and we wish her all the best for her future.
