25.01.2022 I was delighted to present one of our local residents, Keith Kent, with a community service award this afternoon to recognise his contribution to Campbelltown over many years, particularly with the Lions Club of Ingleburn. Earlier this year Keith received a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

25.01.2022 This week we've been celebrating the 80's in our Campbelltown 2020 project. Here's a flashback of my own to the 80's, can you guess which one is me? I thought it would be a good opportunity this week to model the haircut of the decade and see how the mullet works now. Check out all the highlights from the decade online now at www.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au//200Years/1980sOurCampbelltown #Campbelltown2020 #200YearsTogether

23.01.2022 Today is Citizenship Day, a day we celebrate Australian citizenship and the peaceful, and inclusive society we share, and reflect on the role we play in shaping the future of our wonderful community. I am honoured and excited that I have been able to welcome 452 new citizens to our community this year, 212 online and 240 at ceremonies pre covid. Congratulations to our newest citizens, and my high regard to all citizens of our wonderful city. Here are some photos from the most recent ceremonies I completed for Sharon who is originally from Ireland, and Shella from the Phillipines. #CitizenshipDay

Whether it be helping our fire-affected communities, working at quarantine hotels or travelling to the V...ictorian border to help with the Covid health situation, our local cops have done a fantastic job adapting to the challenges that 2020 has thrown at all of us. https://policeweek.org.au/about-us/
