24.01.2022 If you couldn't attend the Mayoral Forum last week, you should read through the responses from all four candidates. It was a great event by the Murray Valley Standard and fantastic to see so many of the Murray Bridge community at the forum and interested in what each of us are standing for. 23.01.2022 Please take the opportunity to vote in this year's local council elections. It is important that you have a say in who makes the decisions on your behalf in Rural City of Murray Bridge. Remember to vote before November 7th.

17.01.2022 We need to push on. Opportunities are either created or present as a result of Council and community being proactive and receptive to orderly progressive growth. As the Mayor, I would lead a united team of elected members and a committed staff group. In a competitive and tight environment Things won’t just happen. Vote for change before November 7th.

17.01.2022 Areas such as Mypolonga and Jervois have suffered loss of the traditional agricultural industries such as dairy, horticulture, citrus and stone fruits. However, many are choosing the lifestyle of these small towns. This begs the question where the land is no longer viable, what Council planning has been done or is required for these small communities to thrive?

17.01.2022 A reminder to everyone in Rural City of Murray Bridge to Vote! This is your opportunity to have a say in those people who lead your local Council and make local decisions on your behalf.

15.01.2022 Remember to vote in this year's Council Elections. Votes can be submitted via post or by dropping your completed ballot papers into a local Council office by 7th November at 5pm. Your vote is your voice, and lets you choose who should lead your local government.

14.01.2022 We have CCTV Cameras installed on the streets of Murray Bridge to protect our community and ensure that this region is a ‘safe’ place. However, none of them are working. How is that protecting our community? Council need to ensure that these cameras are maintained in order to promote Murray Bridge as being safe.

13.01.2022 I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I plan on spending some time with my best friend, Ollie by the incredible Murray River - our regions greatest asset!

13.01.2022 On Tuesday night, I attended the Brand SA Regional Awards, it was fantastic to see many winners and finalists from the Murraylands region. I was honoured to present the Thoroughbred Racing SA Sport Award to Murray Bridge Speedway. See the full list of winners and finalists at http://www.brandsouthaustralia.com.au//murraylands-and-riv

12.01.2022 There are many small communities in our Council region such as Jervois, Wellington, Mypolonga, Callington and Woods Point that support Murray Bridge. Each of these towns deserve recognition, and previously the Small Wins campaign was an opportunity for community members to be involved. It is a shame that this hasn't continued. If elected, I would support a similar campaign so that our smaller communities are recognised and consulted more often.

04.01.2022 Last week I had a chat with Jeremy Simpson from Murray Bridge TV about my Mayoral Campaign and my core priorities: Murray Bridge - Proud, Safe and Progressive.

03.01.2022 The Lower Murray Flood Plain’s including wetlands and riverbanks need constant attention. The reinvigoration and potential diversification of the flood plain needs to be a priority for the Rural City of Murray Bridge, neighbouring Councils and identified stakeholders. Imagine what the future opportunities for this land could be!

02.01.2022 As Mayor, it is important to promote positive relationships in the workplace and between Council members. Part of this is to know when to have fun, and so I would like to share with you a video that the staff at RDA M&R put together for Christmas last year. Enjoy!
