22.01.2022 ROYAL HUA HIN GOLF COURSE TREE PLANTING Today I was invited to plant a tree alongside an Australian flag at a celebration at the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, the first golf course in Thailand. Not really sure why; something about the Ryder Cup (Australia doesnt play in this competition between US and Europe) and the birthday of the major sponsor Singha Beer owner (he came yesterday)! ... Youll find the tree with other national flags alongside the 7th fairway. Anyway a great honour to represent Australian golfers in Thailand and the Cha-Am Golf Club. If this tree obstructs your shot during a round, my apologies. However just mention my name to the caddie and (maybe) youll get a free drop!

08.01.2022 We would just like to thank everyone for a well organised and participate, it was great day yesterday!! The feedback was all positive, well done to sean (very good at the MC Role for presentations) and all committee members. Course presented well, food was tastey and golf field flowed well.... Although effected in numbers due to pandemic and alot of people still watching their money, we thought the 86 or so players obtained great value - well done to the deserving winners who again recieved great prizes. Once again, congratulation to everyone who won the nominations!

07.01.2022 Heads up Wednesday players. We are hosting the Army team to revitalise the annual challenge that has gone by the wayside in the past few years. This will be on wed the 23rd of September and a return match at Hamersley will be announced. Please make an effort to support both club by playing in both home and away games. The average score of the top twenty players is taken. So the more we have the better chance of another Peninsula win.
