24.01.2022 We're celebrating World Pancake Day on Tuesday February 16, with our new Canadian Pancake ($19). Dig into a stack of pancakes, candied bacon, chilli maple and bacon crumbed egg! We're also donating $2 from every Canadian Pancake dish sold to the Lord Mayor's Distress Relief Fund for the Wooroloo and Hills Bushfires. Canadian Pancake is only available on Tuesday February 16 until sold out!

22.01.2022 ANZAC Day celebrations are a little different this year, but there are still plenty of ways to commemorate the day while in isolation, including baking ANZAC biscuits. Bib & Tucker head chef Logan, has shared his easy recipe with the May Street Larder team, so the isolation bake-off can begin. What you need 1 cup AP flour 1 cup rolled oats... 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 125g butter 2 tblsp golden syrup 1 tblsp water 1/2 tsp bi-carb soda Pre-heat the oven to 175. Sift flour into bowl, add sugar, oats and coconut. Melt butter in saucepan, then add golden syrup and water. Stir in bi-carb into the melted mixture it will bubble up a bit. Add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients & mix thoroughly. Shape the cookies into balls with your hands and then flatten down on parchment paper on a baking tray. Bake for 15-20 mins until soft but golden, biscuits will harden as they cool. Yum!

The drink is simple with equal parts instant coffee, sugar and hot water, whisked or beaten until it becomes a rich creamy foam - that can be mixed into hot or cold milk. The verdict?
