24.01.2022 Lots in stock again at both the Pop-Up Shop Indooroopilly Shopping Centre - level 3 next to Riot Art Supplies and Skinnys, and the nursery at Park Ridge. Super gift idea at only $69 and probably one of the most low maintenance, easy care indoor plants you can have. Remember: use tap, rain water or tank water and change every 4 to 6 weeks. They all have a beautiful variegated Domino Peace Lily in so look attractive even when not flowering. Another great gift idea that lasts for years.

22.01.2022 Time to get stuck in!! Spring has sprung so time to get planting and acclimatise your plants for a long hot summer. It's best to buy plants that are sun hardened and not grown under shade conditions. All pictured and more are sun hardened. Lots to choose from at Mazz & Co. At the moment it's pretty dry and little humidity so inspect, water, weed and tidy up existing garden beds. Yellowing leaves indicate that fertilising is needed. 21.01.2022 Lots of Lusciousness! Why not try something different - Bird's Nest Antherium AKA Antherium Schlechtendalii. A hardy shade loving plant suitable for low light situations in the garden, patio or indoor. Their beautiful paddle leaves grow to 1 metre. There are lots of other luscious plants here at the nursery such as Black Bat Plants, Giant Peace Lillies, Monsteras, etc. Come and see.

10.01.2022 For the Lazy Gardner If you have a space where nothing will grow like under a large Gumtree, under Palms which have created garden beds full of fibrous roots, give Bromeliads a go! They are cheap and cheerful and don't need a lot of water. I have lots and they are great! Simply mulch around the base of the trees and plonk in Bromeliads. They don't have a big root system as they gain most of their moisture and nutrients from the water retained in the top of the plant. There are colourful giant ones and minis to choose from here at the nursery. Some people actually put the pot and all into the mulch or put big displays in decorative pots.

07.01.2022 New Kid on the Block! Zanzibar Zenzii. Like their cousin Zanzibar Gem, they "Thrive on Neglect"! The Zenzii are not quite as tall as the Zanzibar Gems but they are compact and more bushy having 2 or 3 or more shoots growing out of each corm. They tolerate a low light situation in the house or office so an ideal plant where others have failed. Good plant for new plant enthusiasts - great gift. Easy care - water once a month during winter and maybe twice a month during summer. Liquid fertilise twice a year.

02.01.2022 The Bees have been busy We have lots of raw - unpasturised honey available at the moment from Kate's hives down the back here. It's extra tasty right now as the Paper Bark Trees have been in flower. $12 per kg tub and $6 for 500g squeeze bottle. Remember, local raw honey is best. Only available at the Park Ridge nursery.

Chinese Star Jasmine - beautiful on trellises, fences and arches. Even when they are not flowering they have beautiful dark green foliage year round. Also Gardenia Florida and Gardenia Magnifica. Beautiful flowers and great as a specimen plant in a garden or decorative tub or hedged. Murrayas - an oldie but a goodie and tough as old boots.
