29.01.2022 Okay, okay it has been a while. But we have been working on a number of things. Engine is now at the machine shop. We have found that my engine has 8.7.1 compression which tells me this would be a great turbo engine. Even so this engine will be a beast with 10.2.1 compression. New cams 266/ 277 at 50 with wiseco pistons and new H beam rods and so on. Moving on with the tuning. We have been able to determine an approximate or conservative gain from the standard tune from Mazd...a. It is between 15 to 25% increase from 3000 up to 7000 RPM. This is due to supporting Mods. For e.g. sports exhaust, air intake, etc. We are looking for a workshop and we are starting to make some head way, although we are working to a time frame somethings will take a little bit longer. 15.01.2022 Update on the Data Logging and modification to the base map of my Mazda 3 SP23 NA. So far we have modified the base map in the high RPM range from 5000 to 7000 RPM. So far I can feel that the engine wants to pull more after 7000rpm and the engine note has changed. It drives really nice but remember this is wide open throttle work most of the low throttle work is okay for now. ... As my spare engine will be built to rev high with high compression we thought it best to understand what the standard engine will do before we move on to the new engine. We will be making changes to the required maps over the next coming week looking for that little bit more each time. Over all the changes that were made to the maximum map for Ignition timing has worked. Next will be the Dyno to see what the back to back results actually are. PS. We also have the capability to tune Subaru's WRX/ STI and Mitsubishis. But this will have to wait a little bit longer. Data logging is such a good tool, it is the reason we were able to pinpoint the exact data cells to manage the timing to stay steady up at 7000 rpm. I have to say The Mazda 2.3 litre is a strong engine. Stay Tuned

09.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. This weekend was all about plugging in and reading logged data and establishing a base map from my Mazda 3 SP23 NA. Much success on all fronts with the tuning and software.... Next week will be about modification to the base map and data logging the changes. We are doing this now to make it simple for you later on. Mzda3Tune, can also tune your chassis and suspension to work for you. 13.12.2021 Just letting everyone know we are working hard for you right now, so that when it comes time for you to saddle up and put those big boy pants on we will be ready. The question is will you?? We will bring you updates on our progress. Currently working on a standard SP23 NA 2.3L, we are data logging everything. Then its of to the the Dyno to lay down a base run. Then to the drags for the very first time. We will do some runs and corrections then back to back everything, data, ...data ,data. Results will be posted. No bullshit just facts. Stay Tuned.
