11.01.2022 Today I was lucky enough to gift myself a birth chart reading and I am so glad I did. To do this on a super moon day was even more amazing. I have a strong impulse for action and a drive to succeed. I am self assertive and overcome obstacles. I have faith in myself and manifest a driven quality. My relationships are strong even when times are challenging. I love this and it was the first few minutes. To learn how the new moon today impacts you. Read on and then gift yourself a reading. I recommend it. ,

07.01.2022 Australia and The Joy of Reading - FB reports that almost three-quarters (72%) of all Australians read for pleasure in 2019. While sheltering in place, people are finding even more time and appreciation for all kinds of books. Australians are learning about the world around them through nonfiction. Readers demonstrate an appetite for history, identity and social issuestitles by female and First Nations authors, for example, were topping the country’s charts in 2018. In 2020, people are more interested than ever in books on race and representation as a global dialog opens up around racial inequity. As books become wider windows into the world, literary tradition is going from hobby to habit. What are you reading? What are some of your favourite books?

05.01.2022 Why You Should Charge What You’re Worth. Today I started my day by sharing an experience that I had with a client of mine about learning to charge for my services. I realised that many others may struggle with the M-word and wanted to share this. I learned something quite fascinating from my mentor, and that is that the change that I was able to provide through charging was deeper and meant more to my clients. In fact, when I wasn't charging the change was not long-lasting. ... I realised that when there is an exchange of something then the teachings lead to permanent change. This is due to the cycle of reciprocation. This means you have to reciprocate in return when you are given something. That means that when you give something for free and you do not ask for something in return (ie a fair exchange) then you take up space in your client's minds that lead to the emotion of guilt. So here is the thing, if you do not charge and they do not reciprocate with investment then the feeling of guilt stays with them. This changed the way that I did business and when I made sure that the exchange was fair, the value of my services and the actions that my clients needed to take became long-lasting and balanced. Then charging was no longer about me charging rather than the person receiving my services feeling that they are getting value out of my services. I followed this up with paying for a service from a women in business that I respect and enjoy working with and the value was phenomenal and worth every dollar. Would love your thoughts!
