25.01.2022 we finally finished our fenced veggie garden area today, it's only taken 18 months to get it done. (Thanks for your help Richard) 10x20 mtrs should be big enough to start. looking forward to fresh vegetables for the family over the coming years.

24.01.2022 Another day in the veg garden. Covered in dirt and content.

24.01.2022 We finally have cows

24.01.2022 First lot of chickens to come to MAZON Farm, we have some roosters in there but that ok as we can start to breed our own. Cant wait to be able to not have to pay for eggs again.

18.01.2022 Unit coming along, a little slower then we were hoping but its getting there.

16.01.2022 Frame starting to go up. Should hopefully be done by today. Then a break for a week followed by cladding the outside.

16.01.2022 Its been a while since we posted on the page due to some big changes, we have left tasmanaia to buy another acreage property in north QLD just past bundaberg, its been a massive move . It has required a lot of work to make it more comfortable, we have downsized in land to 10 acres but have two houses and what seems to be decent fencing although the previous owners took everything they could including bore and house pumps, gates and all the copper piping/plumbing from under on...e of the houses as well as all the taps for some reason, leaving us with a massive cost and lots of work. The yards and the paddocks had weeds and grass higher then 6ft tall which we have managed to get down and found a dam as well as some goats hiding amongst it. Same plans to be as self sufficient as possible, just have to settle in and finish the renos before we continue. See more

15.01.2022 Rotary hoe go go go

14.01.2022 Busy day at MAZON farm, trench dug to bring water to the new veggie patch and future orchard. plus some fencing repairs so we can have some horses to eat down some of the grass. also spent the day yesterday mowing and looking after the other paddock that has been left for a while. getting things ready as we are finally starting to get some rain.

13.01.2022 Busy week at MAZON farm, its been really hot and humid and we have had lots of rain which is great. We had 4 mango trees removed which has made a huge difference, it also gives us plenty of wood chips to help with weed suppression and to also make things look better.

10.01.2022 Busy day on MAZON Farm today, processed our first roosters with some help from more experienced family, (Richard and Rachel thank you) and after stocking up on fruit and veg from the local market we are now making strawbery and kiwi fruit leather for the kids school lunch.

08.01.2022 Our first babies born on mazon farm. 2 new lambs, the black and white one has been named moo moo by Olivia because it looks like a cow ( has very similar markng and colouring as our cow lulu) and the black one Zave named lamb burger

02.01.2022 finished two rows of the veggie garden today and finally got some seedlings in. used bamboo that we grow ourselves for the garden stakes. it's starting to finaly come together.

01.01.2022 first harvest from the new garden. we have had close to 400 mil of rain over the past 3 -4 weeks So it has taken off. unfortunately so has the grass and weeds

01.01.2022 Our first egg for mazon farm 2.0 bought a couple of hens yesterday as the first lot we got turned out to be mainly roosters, we thought we might as well get them as we were there anyway. We are hoping that getting a couple that are still laying will motivate the other girls we have.
