It goes without saying that COVID-19 has had a significant impact here in Victoria and particularly in Melbourne, where we have been in virtual isolation for the last eight months. This has been an extremely challenging time for everyone. Exacerbated by the widespread lack of understanding and appreciation within the various government departments, as to the breadth and importance of strata and strata managers in managing the pandemic for 1 in 4 Victorians. You may be surprised by the direction given, which identifies that renovations cannot take place in a strata complex unless the complex is fully vacated.

13.01.2022 The Victorian Government released more FAQs for Stage 4 restrictions today. For the 1 in 4 Victorians living in strata titled complexes (apartments, townhouses... etc.) the pandemic restrictions have presented unique challenges. Can I access common areas if Im in quarantine or isolation? Will someone in the complex, or someone who manages the complex be able to assist me? What are the rules on tradespeople and workers visiting the building? DHHS has released a useful guide to mutli-unit living during COVID-19 - https://bit.ly/2PHTeiw - and we await release of their updated guide.
