14.01.2022 NAIDOC week might be 'technically' over but we're living by the phrase 'always was, always will be' and keeping the momentum going! The Shire/CRC NAIDOC shirt project is still going strong and we're keen to see your designs - draw something that represents what NAIDOC means to you on a standard sheet of paper and send them through to the CRC to get your free, unique commemorative NAIDOC 2020 shirt with your design printed on the back! Kids can head down to the Rec Shed to get creative with the art supplies down there and we've got plenty of adult sizes too!

09.01.2022 Heads up - the Comet Mine to Bonney Downs Hillside Road has seen some damage after the recent rains. The road crew are working to get it fixed but until then, make sure to exercise caution and be aware you'll only be able to get through in a 4WD as the road is closed to trucks and 2WD vehicles. Drive safe and stay tuned for updates.

06.01.2022 Update on the Comet Mine to Bonney Downs Hillside Road - the road is still damaged but has now been opened up to trucks, extreme caution is still advised. "Road Surface Damage near Glenn Herring Gorge turn off (30km from Marble Bar) not passable by low clearance trucks/trailers etc"
