21.01.2022 In anticipation of our chess tournament this coming Monday (15/3) we at #marcheboardgame have gone chess crazy! So why not learn a little bit more before you come and try your skills? Chaturanga developed in the 6th century in the Golden Age of India. Cultural interchange with Sassanid Persia in the next century spread the game throughout the rest of the Asian continent, where later Arabic conquest introduced the game to the Muslim world. The game then spread to Southern Euro...pe, where it took the rough form of the game we know today - chess.
