11.01.2022 Turned my dining room into a little snippet of what my exhibit would’ve looked like. The spec was an Autumn palette and I had so much fun working with the ginger and dried palm fronds. I haven’t polished brass in years, but sitting on my verandah working on some of these vases brought back childhood memories of how I used to earn pocket money. Yes that’s right, polishing all of my Mum’s brass decor and she had every fashionable ornament that was trendy in the 90’s. I thoroug...hly enjoyed working with the burnt oranges, deep reds and touches of cream / beige accentuated by the pale olive velvet furniture makes a WOW statement. The venue for my showcase was Hideaway Weddings located on the Steve Irwin highway, a magical rainforest setting run by a dream team. I can’t wait for the re-run of the Summer Showcase.
