23.01.2022 The Australian government has implemented a temporary measure to relax the 40hr/fortnight work limitation, imposed on student visas, in a boost to the agriculture industry. If you employ student visa holder/ are a student visa holder, you can now work for more than 40 hours/per fortnight if you are employed in the agricultural sector. New questions are reported to include whether religious laws override Australian laws, whether men have more rights and opportunities than women, and whether it's ok for males spouses to perpetrate violence against women and children (hint, all answers NO!). 02.01.2022 #Employers in #AgedCare + (dis)Ability: The Australian Government has introduced a temporary measure, to relax the work limitation of #studentvisa holders. Student visa holders employed by an aged care Approved Provider or Commonwealth-funded aged care service provider with a RACS ID or a NAPS ID, before 8 September 2020; or employed by a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme provider, will be permitted to work more than the current work restrictions of 40 hours per fortnight.
