11.01.2022 From 15 Nov 2020, a new #AustralianCitizenship Test is being rolled out with focus on a deeper understanding of #Australianvalues. New questions are reported to include whether religious laws override Australian laws, whether men have more rights and opportunities than women, and whether it's ok for males spouses to perpetrate violence against women and children (hint, all answers NO!). A happy mention also, that our #FirstPeoples' flag is offered as a practice question in ...preparation for the test ("What are the colours of the Australian Aboriginal Flag?) The new version of the Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond resource is available on Immigration's website to assist people to prepare for the new test. This includes information on the new Australian values component and also an updated practice test.
