13.01.2022 Life is too short for regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about those who don’t. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it. - Paolo Coelho

10.01.2022 Moving to a different Country can have a drastic impact on your emotional well being due to the big change that you and your system experience during the process. Some early preparation (even before you board the plane !) can help you to navigate this change a bit easier. Here are 6 tips to help you prepare yourself (and your family!) BEFORE you make the move:- 1 Identify your Change response. Are you a person who adapts easily, or do you take a bit longer before you f...eel comfortable when you are faced with something new. If you take a bit longer, you may have to invest some additional time in preparing yourself for this big move. This could also be different for each member of your family. 2 The reality may be different from your expectation (either in a positive or a negative way). How would you cope in either of these scenarios? This is expecially important if you are moving with children. Some children may need additional support to help them cope with the after-effects of moving. 3 Invest in a journal (even if you are not really the journaling type!). Start making notes and observations about your current mindset and some strategies that you think would work for you when times get tough for example phoning a friend, painting, meditating, bathing etc. 4 Expect tough times. Life rarely goes exactly as planned and when the wheels are threatening to fall off, it can feel a lot worse when you are far from your familiar surroundings. What could you potentially do when this happen? Some examples here could include phoning a trusted friend, write in the journal that you just invested in, seeking professional support or reaching out to support groups. 5 Start looking into support groups that exist in the area that you are moving to. These groups are a great way to make connection with like-minded people and to find your feet a bit quicker. 6 Write down your commitments to you include a promise that you will only expect yourself to do your best and that you will be kind to yourself when kindness is necessary. 10.01.2022 Some days there won't be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. ~Emory Austin ... Some days it will be easier than other days to move forward. And that is okay. Every little step that you can take is progress. The most difficult part is normally the start or the first step. If you feel that you cannot sing, sing anyway. If you feel you cannot move, take the first step, even if it is a shuffle. As soon as you start, you will realise that you actually had a song within you. And with the right mindset and motivation, you can move... forward. #boschcoaching, #migrationcoach, #expatcoach, #relationshipcoach, #movingforward, #changemanagement, #lifecoachforwomen, #soulwork, #purposedriven, #innerwork
