25.01.2022 Weekend time table for all those that want to know when I’m racing. I won’t know if I’m in group A,B or C until after qualifying Saturday morning but will post which group after. https://www.karting.net.au//AKC-Timetable-2021-Round-3-Com

25.01.2022 Practice day at the Australian Kart Championship RD3 was a blast. The day started off cool and just heated up. Today I ran 4 practice sessions, the first session was going well until the left rear hub moved and the whole tyre jammed but I still managed the 15th best time. I was hoping all our bad luck was used up with that. Session 2 didn’t start as I’d wanted, lucky dad had told me about the break down lane and so after 3 laps I headed in. Dad came over and dropped the ch...oke on the carbie. Now back on the track and in clear air I was hoping to use the brand new tyres. Boy the kart hooked up and I had great grip, I managed to do three laps better than I’d ever done before at bolivar. Dad was so happy and then I realized I had topped the session, I was the fastest Cadet 12 Session 3 was good but I was only able to be 11th fastest but had fun passing karts. Session 4 didn’t go as well even though it was fun racing others but I was only 17th. A great day thought and so happy to top a practice session in the AKC along with a PB. Tomorrow is qualifying at 8am followed by 3 heat races. Thanks to TD Racing and Tom Williamson Motorsport for all the advise. #neisuzu #northeastisuzu #redcamelracinginc #suttonelectricalservices #kartingobsession

14.01.2022 A great program, I participated in this when I first started back in 2017. The team were so good at teaching us kids the basics.

13.01.2022 That’s 2020 race season done. On the weekend I competed in the Inter Club 2 day event. Saturday was held at Southern Go Kart Club in hot and very windy and dust conditions. This time the track was run in a clockwise direction, the opposite to normal. After one practice session we were under way. I tried hard all day but feeling tired and not 100%, I finished 7,4,5 and 6 in the final. It just wantt to my day and the heat took it’s toll. Time for a good nights rest. Day 2 saw u...s at The Go Kart Club of SA at Monarto. Feeling much better one again the track was run in the reverse direction to normal. Practice was great and I set the 3 fastest time. Heat 1 saw me start off pole and I raced hard, side by side through 5 corners before going a bit wide and dropping a spot and being slow going down to 3rd. However in the closing stages I caught up and battle for the lead before crossing the line in 2nd. Race 2 I started at the back of the field, battling hard to get through I managed to come home 6th. Race 3 was a slow start and I was pushed by all those around me with some great battles, crossing the line 4th. The final saw me start 4th, I didn’t have the straight line speed and dropped to 5th at the finish. A great day racing just a little disappointed I couldn’t battle for the lead. Overall for the day on points I finished 4th a good end to the season with great racing against a very competitive field. I’d like to that all those for their support during 2020 #suttoneletricalservices #redcamelracinginc #TDRacing #kartingobsession #rapidconcepts #amvwheels you have all been fantastic Thanks to all those who sent messages throughout the year during race meetings to wish me all the best. Thanks especially to Josh Denton for his coaching this year and advise at race meetings.

11.01.2022 I’d like to say thank you to everyone for your support throught 2021 and we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. To all our valued partners thank you so much for you support.

11.01.2022 Well it’s on for 2021! We tried to compete in the Australian Karting Championship in 2020 but as we all know that didn’t happen. We are so looking forward to 2021 with some exciting things to look forward to.

09.01.2022 Round 1, let’s go racing

06.01.2022 To say I’ve been through the highs and lows of Karting this weekend would be an understatement. Friday was a very good day as you saw from my other post. Saturday morning saw me hit the track in the upper 50% for qualifying. Being in the second group out helped and I was able to set the 15th quickest time putting me in group C for my 4 heat races. Heat 1 I started out of 10th and got a fantastic start through turn 1 and out of 2 and that when my Saturday went wrong. I was t...urned around half way to turn 3 and spun in front of most of the field. Almost all got past but I was hit heading by an unlucky mate, that was my race done. When I got back my dad and team team set to work to repair the kart. I had a bent steering column, tie rod and broken rear rim are just the few bits I can remember. Thanks to my friends Tyler and Blake and family along with the guys from Tom Williamson Motorsport, TD Racing and Karting Addiction Australia (AMV Australia rims) for all their help in getting parts and helping put the kart back together. I just got to the grid I time for my next heat, however the kart wasn’t right soon as I went out and I pulled in for safety. I did not enjoy Karting today, and dad worked until 7pm to get the kart back right. Sunday is finals day, heat 3 for me I started out of 26th. I had a great start and had some fun passing many karts by the end I finished 9th. Heat 4 I started from 26th again, this time it wasn’t so easy but I finished 14th and set the fastest lap of the heat, a first for me. The the wait to see if I made the final, the news came though I did and would start 29th out of the 36 kart field. In the 20 lap final I got an ok start but in turn 1 I had a kart in the back of the neck and one went over the front and took my camera out. I got going and set of, the steering wasn’t right but I had great battles and twice passed 2 karts at a time into turn 1. The kart was wounded however I was able to make it to 20th by the end. Dad showed me when I came in the steering column was bent again but this time a different way. Thanks to everyone for their support this weekend through the highs and lows, especially my dad. I know I can match it with the best and can’t wait till we go to RD 4 of Australian Kart Championship in Victoria. #northeastisuzu #suttonelectricalservices #redcamelracinginc #TDRacing #kartingobsession #tomwilliamsonmotorsport #willpowerkart #southerngokartclub
