23.01.2022 To our MBRLC Members and Families, We hope all our Members and families are keeping safe and healthy. We are reaching out to advise the position we are in regarding our 2020 season.... At this stage we have decided that the health and well being of our Members Is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we will remain closed until our state and local governments make their next announcements on June 22nd, 2020. . There are some clubs that are training. Please note - Not all clubs have started training. We are not saying there is no training, we are just saying, not yet. We are waiting for the indication from NRL Vic for the season dates. It was not an easy decision to make as we understand our players and families may be keen to get back in to training. We just ask that you hang in there with us, whilst the committee implement the appropriate covid-19 training for all staff/volunteers. We are also working with Melton council to get our home grounds covid-19 safe for our players, staff, and families. 17.01.2022 To our members, REMINDER- If you would like to participate in our 2020 season you MUST do the following :... * Register player/volunteers by clicking the MySideline link at the bottom of this notification. You can not take the field unless you are registered. * Download the covid-19 app and register. This will assist our government with tracking cases in our area. * We are strictly- GET IN, TRAIN, GET OUT - please arrive close to the time of your child’s training session. Parents/guardians are to remain in your vehicles-You must not drop off your child and leave. *Social distancing will be monitored. If you have had close contact to someone who has tested positive with covid-19 PLEASE stay home and see a doctor. If you or your child have symptoms PLEASE stay home * If there are any symptoms displayed and temperature reading is 37.6 or above at training or games, you will be asked to leave. You will not be allowed to return until a clearance from your doctor is provided. * Each player is to provide their own water bottles for each training/game. 13.01.2022 Hi all As you would be aware new restrictions are in place for Greater Melbourne from 6.00pm TONIGHT.... NRL Victoria is awaiting further advice on finer details, but current interpretations as at 12.00noon today are below. This is subject to change based on any further updates and advice from government, any updates will be provided as soon as practicable. Clubs are permitted to conduct training AND play matches subject to the following after 6.00pm tonight: Masks are worn in all indoor spaces for anyone over 12 years of age (not required for outdoor but recommended) Patron cap limits has have not changed but spectators must be in groups of no more than 30 and are socially distanced within the groups clubs may need to mark out areas for spectator grouping with maximum capacity in each group to be 30 NOTE: playing/training participants and any personnel required on field are NOT limited in size and are not included in gathering limits Clubs will continue to observe Return to Train/Play Guidelines: All participants are registered All attendees are logged as attending training All hygiene practises are maintained QR Code at venues Once further information becomes available we will pass onto you immediately.

09.01.2022 Good afternoon Broncos Fam. Well done to all of our teams who played yesterday, it's great to see all the players back out on the fields having fun with their team mates again. We have certainly enjoyed watching you all play.... A massive thank you to all of our volunteers who have been helping us make our home games run smoothly. If it's helping us set up the fields, in the canteen or even on the field your help doesn't go unnoticed. To our sports trainer for taking the time travelling over to Casey Fields both yesterday and today for 2 full days of the training course to help our club Thank You. Without all of your help we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

08.01.2022 Dear All, Please note that the NRL and NRL Victoria is aware of a number of sports who have today made announcements regarding their community club competitions and programs being postponed/delayed/suspended/cancelled in respect to COVID-19 / Coronavirus. As previously advised, NRL Victoria continues to take advice from and work both the NRL and State Government. Communication with both the NRL and State Government this evening is that the advice has not changed and that comm...unity club sports to still proceed until further notice, noting that the situation remains fluid and that this advice can change. Should the advice change NRL Victoria will advise you immediately if this occurs.

Location is: Anderson Reserve, Broadmeadows at 10:40am All U12s are based at Fregon Reserve this week. School Sport Victoria (SSV) have asked to have all teams at one venue to be able to form part of the selection for a 12 & Under team who will, all being fair and equal, travel interstate as a Victorian team following the conclusion of the 2021 season.
