21.01.2022 MBS recently completed a Learning Centre at Penrith Anglican College for a compliant cost effective short term requirement, that is easily relocatable for future proofing. The Learning Centre comprised of 2 classrooms, with each having a large store room & a wash trough area for students to use.

20.01.2022 UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE’S TEAM PRESENTED WITH INAUGURAL FLEETWOOD CHALLENGE CUP! The inaugural Fleetwood Challenge Cup winners from The University of Melbourne were honoured for their outstanding design using a prefabricated solution late last week. The pictured team took out the inter-University challenge by developing a flexible building solution to meet Australia’s affordable housing crisis. Australia’s emerging architects, engineers and construction (AEC) professionals ar...e now continuing to address the industry’s biggest issues through this cross-faculty design competition, developed by prefabAUS in partnership with Fleetwood. Jason Kunkler, COO of Fleetwood Building Solutions noted that with the 2021 competition now well underway and focused on adaptive reuse of buildings, we remain confident that we are making a difference in shaping the future of the Australian built environment. With the 2021 Challenge Cup receiving overwhelming interest from Australia’s brightest AEC students from 9 Universities across Australia, we are eager to see how they will meet the challenge to address record-high building vacancy rates in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. 14.01.2022 Pleased to welcome members from the South Australian Department of Education and Sensum through our Para Hills West facility recently, including former South Australian Premier and current Chair of Governance for the Department of Education, Hon. Dean Brown AO. With a range of transportable and permanent modular builds currently in-progress a number of which are part of the state government’s $1.3 Billion major school infrastructure upgrade program the tour was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the versatility of modular construction. Looking forward to continuing the conversation on how modular construction can provide modern learning spaces that stimulate student curiosity & benefit local school communities!

02.01.2022 Delighted to spend a morning with the amazing team of staff and volunteers at Shenton Park Dog’s Refuge Home! Our Fleetwood WA team proudly designed and constructed the 11-module building to care for up to 150 unwanted and abandoned dogs. The building was completed in five short months; with minimal disruptions to the day-to-day operations, neighbouring businesses and residential homes. With a record number of dogs being abandoned following the end of the rental moratorium, there are many beautiful animals urgently needing loving homes. Please remember: adopt don’t shop!
