18.01.2022 If your training plan consists of cardio, are you doing it at the right time? Often you see people do 20 minutes on a treadmill, then do a weight lifting workout and then get back on the exercise bike. This isn’t good as cardio will deplete your muscle glycogen stores. Muscle glycogen stores is essentially your stored energy for explosive activity. The biggest concern for people trying to lose weight/fat is muscle loss. If you lose weight/ fat and muscle with it, it becomes h...arder to keep the fat off in the long run. So when training weights and cardio in the same session, do your weight training first then followed by cardio to finish off. If possible do them on alternating days.
