25.01.2022 To the mongrel bin-scabs who've been rummaging through our dumpster and bins while we're trying to clean out our store: if you think that we would actually throw away working DVDs and BluRays, think again. You are only talking home damaged stock. Now please stop creating more mess for us to clean up. We've caught three people red-handed. It's kind of pathetic!! Ta.

10.01.2022 Our liquidation sale is going gang-busters and stock has practically been walking out the door. Thank you to everyone who has been down to grab some bargains!! Obviously this sale has kept us on our toes and we have been absolutely pummelled with sales, and while we sincerely appreciate the well-wishes, please forgive us for not engaging in any deep conversations about why we're closing or what's next for us... it's a conversation that almost every person wants to have and b...ut we're just too busy to fully engage on that level. 05.01.2022 Here we go folks... today is our LAST DAY!!!! I thought I would share some photos of the store from 10(ish) years ago. It's been a fun ride, that's for sure. Thanks to everyone who spent their money in our store. It's been an absolute pleasure serving you. And so this is it... the final hours. 04.01.2022 Naturally a lot of people are sad to see us go, and it is so very lovely to hear all of the 'thank you's and well wishes. It sure does highlight what a valuable community-orientated institution the ol' video store was, and while home entertainment has never been more affordable or bountiful with the excellent streaming services, it is very sad for communities to be losing that social interaction with the video store people. We've loved chin-wagging with you and talking about films. I've made many personal friends out of members (and lets face it, a few enemies along the way too) and running the store has been a massive love affair for me. But if you were to ask me right now (as of this very moment) what I am most sad about?? The answer would have to be that TACKLE HAPPY hasn't sold yet. ;) ;)
