05.01.2022 A successful Easter weekend at Bathurst for Round 3 of the Trans Am Australia series for the McAlister Motors Racing Team. After a busy few weeks of testing and time in the workshop, all 4 cars showed big gains from the previous round. The team was put to the test on Saturday when Matt's #5 made heavy contact with the wall at Griffins Bend. The team along with the help of TAFE NSW Bathurst worked for 12 hours to have the car ready for Race 3 on Sunday. It didn't look pretty ...but it was fast, with Matt storming from rear of the grid to 12th place and setting his fastest time of the weekend! Hugh's #6 finished the weekend strong with a 5th place in Race 3. The improved performance was a combination of a car and driver tweak for the last race. Ian and Mark both performed well all weekend. Both improving their lap times every session, and having a great battle in the final race. 4 weeks until the next Trans Am Australia round at Sydney Motorsport Park.
