19.01.2022 Yesterday we had the privilege of enlisting the skills of the man who started it all himself Grandpa Jim Mcardle. The objective was to get the bracket fungus infect ironbark down safely as the canopy was rotten, the tree was dead and it had a massive leader on the back side leaning towards fences and sheds. Due to the surrounding trees, care had to be taken to preserve as much as vegetation as possible. With no access into the property apart from foot, we had to look at other... options . With this tricky job ahead of us, we borrowed the brains of the old fella along with his old mate ‘The Forest Devil’ winch. With the help of narrow access track mounted EWP to lug the wire cable and ropes up the tree (something which would have needed to be done by hand in the past) we showed the old fella how far the technology in the Industry has come. And in return he showed us the awesome ability of the gear used decades ago. Not only did the near 86 year old bring his brains to the task but insisted on scarfing the tree over also- what a living legend. The biggest thing we all learnt today is that the old saying ‘out with the old and in with the new’ is so far from correct, and in fact there is a place for old gear as much as the new if you take the time to understand it. 07.01.2022 A big congratulations to our 5 year old son and little hard worker Corey McArdle on becoming the 2020 National Champion in Clash Sparring over the weekend winning gold in a dominant performance. He also was the runner up in sumo claiming silver in a tough division and picked up a bronze in Point Sparring. Well done COREY

07.01.2022 Great day out removing and pruning dangerous trees at one of our regular schools with the help of Sydney Wide Cranes for the heavy lifting . With all staff on deck, contract climber Andrew Greentree, both trucks and chippers, 18m EWP, excavator and Avant, we managed to make light work of the task in front. Well done team
