13.01.2022 Playgroup is back I can’t wait to meet all the playgroup families this coming Thursday (30th July). The kindy is set up for fun, the coffee machine will be on and hopefully the weather will be nice! Please remember to wear clothes that can get dirty/ messy, as well as a piece of fruit (and if you have one a travel coffee mug). Hope to see all Thursday Sally (and the kindy community)

13.01.2022 The staff have been getting ready for term 4 and can’t wait to see everbody next week. It’s going to be a big term with pre entry, school visits as well as exploring and learning through play. This term we have a Number and Oral Literacy focus. Through following the children’s interests from last term we have set up a post office; to spark children’s interest in writing, reorganised our library to include puzzles and a variety of fiction and non fiction books which are easily accessible as well as a quiet place to rest and relax as well as a designated numeracy area in the block corner with measuring tapes, scales, clocks and pens and paper to record our discoveries.

10.01.2022 Welcome to McArthur Park Kindy 2021. Due to the Australia Day Public Holiday Kindy will start on Wednesday 27th of January. In week one our kindy days are Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 3pm. We can’t wait to see you all next week!

09.01.2022 Clarice Rainbow Sparkles has been such an amazing Mother Hen! She has hatched out 7 babies and they have grown so much! Clarice is now producing yummy eating eggs! Yummy we will cook something with them next week.

02.01.2022 - , : Today the Premier announced a 6 day statewide lockdown starting at midnight tonight (Wednesday 18 November) t...hrough to midnight Tuesday 24 November. Only the children of essential workers and vulnerable children will be able to attend school, preschool or childcare. A skeleton staff will provide supervision but not a learning program for the remainder of this week. All students have been asked to take home school laptops, devices, books and anything they need to continue their learning from home. More information on learning programs will be provided early next week.

02.01.2022 Dear parent/caregiver, The Premier today announced that schools and preschools will reopen to all students on Monday 23 November. As a result McArthur Park Kindergarten will be open and operating as normal next week. Next weeks Kindy days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. ... We will not be offering an alternative home-based learning program. As the Chief Public Health Officer said, just because the hard lockdown is being lifted does not mean that the risks associated with COVID-19 have passed. As a result we will minimise the number of people coming and going from our site. Wherever possible, please drop and collect your child at the gate and maintain the appropriate physical distance from other adults. More information on transitions days, excursions, events, and use of masks will be available soon. Thank you very much for your support over the last couple of days.
