13.01.2022 Year 8 STEAM students have begun the building phase of the Automata project, and their energy and enthusiasm is amazing! Creative ideas and some simple basic craft materials will come alive as robots, creeping caterpillars and spinning dancers! This individual project is all about problem solving and the design process as we learn how to use levers to create motion. #theREALmcauley

It is set up for one purpose... for parents to connect with other parents to sell and buy second hand uniforms. The College is not involved in any way in the exchange of items, but will manage the site to ensure the posts and responses are appropriate. The College will also manage the membership of this group. 03.01.2022 COVID changed our plans to go to Guzmen y Gomez earlier in Term 2, so we brought the food to us! Yesterday our Year 9 Spanish students enjoyed some delicious Mexican food. In Semester One, students learned about the different food habits and local dishes from Spain and Latin America. They also learnt to discuss their own eating habits, describe foods and express their likes and dislikes. Yesterday they enjoyed enchiladas, nachos, quesadillas and churros from Casa Fiesta, located locally in Beaudesert and were able to order using Spanish and also describe their food. Qué delicioso! (How delicious!). #theREALmcauley
