Crunch and Sip is a set time where students refuel on fruit and vegetables and hydrate on water. 19.01.2022 Today, Stage 2 participated in the Souths/ Roosters Eastern Region Catholic League Touch Gala Day which involved a series of 7-a side league tag games. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to play a round of ‘friendly’ games with students of the same age from other Catholic schools in the Eastern Region. Many positive reviews received of the day from our tired players as they returned to school.

17.01.2022 This week in STEM lessons Year 2 took part in the Navigation Challenge. By using the Draw program in Sphero, they navigated Sphero around an object. Years 3 and 4 learnt all about Perimeter and how Sphero and the Sensory Data contained within the App can calculate the perimeter of a 2D shape! The day's program, which was led by Let's Go Surfing, North Bondi, helped take the fear out of the surf and gave the children skills for enjoying our precious ocean.

12.01.2022 Today, Years 3 and 4 went on an excursion to the North Head Sanctuary as part of their Science and Geography studies. They enjoyed building bandicoot nests, searching for minibeasts and going on a bushwalk to the headland where, looking back onto South Head, they spotted Rose Bay! What a wonderful day exploring native habitat to many local and endangered species of plants and animals.

They deliver engaging and relevant dance and drama programs which have been developed around the Australian National Curriculum. All the students had a fantastic time, learning new skills and being outside in the beautiful sunny weather. It was an amazing day enjoyed by all.

Woollahra council will be proudly supporting our school to create a Native Nature Nook that contains native plants, a native stingless beehive and a frog attracting pond. This will assist in providing more onsite opportunities for students to learn about, care for and appreciate nature. #woollahracouncil
